The re-use of a ready-made image, an already existing image, creates a new story to live in and go on.

MixedMedia

Acrylic colours on canvas/collage with newspaper (2009)

Collage - Entropy

A kind of "translation" of the concept of Entropy, through collage on paper board.(2007-2009)
Order & Disorder.
Balance between the lines.
Relationship between full & empty.
Illusion of depth & different levels.

Entropy

The idea for this subject originated from the notion of entropy, a term borrowed by the discipline of Physics, which refers to the measure of disorder in a system.
I interpreted the notion of “entropy” through shape and color, placing a special emphasis on the interaction of colors.
Through my work I combined two different techniques of the 20th century: Abstract Expressionism and Op Art.
Media: acrylic colours on canvas (2007-2008)
